About Us

Mayors ESports Network provides you with the latest news, videos, commentaries and support about the esports industry and cities.

The United States Conference of Mayors (USCM) is the official non-partisan organization of cities with populations of 30,000 or more. There are more than 1,400 such cities in the country today. Each city is represented in the Conference by its chief elected official, the mayor. Conference members speak with a united voice on organizational policies and goals.

Mayors contribute to the development of national urban policy by serving on one or more of the conference’s standing committees. One such committee is The Mayors Professional Sports Alliance (MPSA), composed of mayors from cities with major league sports teams–National Football League, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League, Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer, as well a myriad esports franchises and leagues. The mission of MPSA is for cities to share information, resources, and support on issues related to professional sports and to work effectively with leagues, players and owners.

This site, MayorsESportsNetwork.com  is one part of our program. It provides esports-related industry news with daily updates, a weekly blog, and a weekly interview with industry influencers.

The United States Conference of Mayors’ Mayors Professional Sports Alliance has been working for nearly a decade with New York University’s Tisch Institute for Global Sport to research, analyze, and consult on special projects that develop new knowledge about sports in cities.
